At the World Exhibition in Dubai, two Belgian companies showed the way forward in demonstrating how they are able to produce food using fewer raw materials, through innovation and by working shoulder to shoulder with other partners.
The demand for frozen waffles is on the rise, as world player Dely Wafels attests. “We want to make our toaster waffles the reference in Europe. Our ambition is to produce 1 million waffles a day by 2023”, say CEO’s and founders Ellen Tournois and Davy Van Poucke.
